The questions behind the tools
What work should move without me? Which decisions still need my judgment? What does it take to check the output and keep the whole thing working?
I also want to understand the economics. Faster work isn’t automatically a better business. I need to look at the time it takes, what it costs and whether the output is useful.
Those are questions I’m working through in this company. I’m interested in what it takes to make the work useful, including my own time checking it.
